Customized Programming
Our program planning process is designed to help us gather the information needed to create a customized experience for each group. During this process we can discuss multiple program design options, choosing a date for your program and discuss program fees. The following list of questions provides an overview of the type of information that is helpful to discuss as part of the program planning process. Not every question below will be relevant to every group and not all background information about a group will be captured from the questions below. Please use the questions below as a starting point for thinking about the design of your program experience.
- What is the nature of the group you are interested in bringing to the challenge course?
- For example: Officers of a college student organization, members of a high school softball team, workplace colleagues, etc.
- What is the relationship of your group members to one another?
- For example: Group consists of workplace colleagues who work out of regional offices so they are familiar with each other but do not work in the same physical space and only get together in person on a quarterly basis.
- Is there a specific reason you are seeking a program for your group at this time/do you have specific outcome goals for the experience?
- For example: It is the beginning of the season for a club soccer team and so scheduling a program at a time that will help the players get to know each other better.
- What are the top 3 outcomes you would like to see result from your group's experience?
- For example: 1. Introduce new members of workplace team to rest of group in a way that is more comprehensive than what occurs during the typical routine of the office, 2. Help the new group members find a voice within the overall group, 3. Provide a fun experience for the group.
- Are there members of your group who will benefit from specific considerations or accommodations?
- For example: A member of the group has limited mobility due to being in recovery from knee surgery.
- Are there specific ways in which the team building experience will be utilized by your group after the program?
- For example: A group of students who are part of a 2 year program during which they attend classes together as a cohort and work on small group projects wants to work on collaborative goal setting during their team building experience and wants to develop a process for ensuring that everyone in the group has the opportunity to express themselves each time group goals are developed so that they can implement this tool during their classes.
